I am a Product and UI/UX designer. I believe that good design solves real problems. Good design can delight, inspire, expedite, etc....but most importantly, good design helps a person achieve the goal that they have in mind when they approach a digital product/service. I received my Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University. I am currently a Product Designer at Schoology where I work on personalized learning solutions for teachers, students, parents, and school administrators for Kindergarten through Grade 12. I also have experience working in enterprise event and hospitality tech. My strengths include: 1) conducting both discovery and evaluative user research, 2) collaborating with product managers and engineers to ensure designs support our business vision and are technically feasible, 3) designing user flows, UI components, and interaction models that are scalable throughout robust platforms and responsive across devices, and 4) leading design thinking and cross-discipline collaboration between project stakeholders and team members.
