If you subscribe to a service on this site that requires payment of a fee, you agree to pay all fees and any applicable taxes associated with such service. For all charges for services on this site, we will bill your credit card. Recurring charges are billed in advance of service. Purchases made from TheTechMap site will be handled by a secure online merchant service provider (“merchant”). We use PayPal® as our merchant and you agree that your transaction may be handled by PayPal or another merchant of our choice. Your purchase is subject to the merchant’s terms and conditions. Please make yourself aware of how the merchant service operates prior to completing your purchase. Terms and Conditions for transactions made through Paypal® can be found at PayPal Merchants accept multiple currencies, however we require that all payments be made in U.S. Dollars (USD). Payments made to a merchant other than in U.S. Dollars are subject to currency conversions at the appropriate exchange rate. We do not store debit/credit card details.

In the event a dispute arises between you and us, please contact us. Any dispute arising from or relating to the subject matter of this Agreement shall be finally settled by arbitration in Travis County, Austin, Texas, using the English language in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) then in effect, by one commercial arbitrator with substantial experience in resolving intellectual property and commercial contract disputes, who shall be selected from the appropriate list of AAA arbitrators in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules and Procedures of AAA. The prevailing party in any arbitration or other proceeding arising under this Agreement shall be entitled to receive reimbursement of its reasonable expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees, expert witness fees and all other expenses) incurred in connection therewith. Judgment upon the award so rendered may be entered in any court having competent jurisdiction or application may be made to such court for judicial acceptance of any award and an order of enforcement, as the case may be. Notwithstanding the foregoing, each party shall have the right to institute an action in a court of proper jurisdiction for injunctive or other equitable relief pending a final decision by the arbitrator. For all purposes of this Agreement, the parties consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the United States Federal Courts or state courts located in the Western District of Texas. Use of this site is not authorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of the Agreement, including without limitation, this section. You agree that any cause of action arising out of or related to the site (including, but not limited to, any services provided or made available therein) or this Agreement must commence within one year after the cause of action arose; otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred.

This site (excluding any linked sites) is controlled by us from our offices within the State of Texas, United States of America. It can be accessed from all 50 states, as well as from other countries around the world. As each of these places has laws that may differ from those of Texas, by accessing this site both of us agree that the statutes and laws of the State of Texas, without regard to the conflicts of laws principles thereof and the United Nations Convention on the International Sales of Goods, will apply to all matters relating to the use of this site and the purchase of products and services available through this site.
