I love bringing innovation and business together. Over the past ten years I have done that in the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) sector, an area I am passionate about given its potential to improve people's lives when going from A to B. I am proudly working as part of the Siemens ITS Digital Lab - a new group within the business that maximises the value of existing systems and infrastructure owned by cities by making better use of data they already have in order to solve practical problems. By applying machine learning and AI techniques, we can solve mobility-related issues for our customers and we do it all using design thinking, our knowledge of ITS, our expertise in data science and an agile development approach. I also have extensive experience in public speaking events as both presenter and panel moderator. You may find my TEDxOxford talk about driverless cars online as an example. In parallel to work, I am an advocate for getting more girls and women into the fields of science, technology, engineering and maths. I am open to volunteering opportunities around anything that may contribute to that.
