I'm currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin (Class of 2019), majoring in statistics and data sciences. I'm also particularly interested in geography, how technology and spacial relationships can solve - and create - problems on both a macro and micro scale, and how this all contributes the connectivity of people and cultures. This stems from the fact that I appreciate learning about cultures - whether it's through reading, traveling, eating, or interacting with people of different backgrounds. I also have a lifelong affinity for sports and the data produced by them. One of my goals in the future is to explore the analytical potential of a variety of lesser-played sports, with the hope of popularizing them and helping them gain traction in larger markets. I would also like to write more about my explorations with tackling sports analytics questions.
