The company was originally founded as Spirit Pins in 2003 and became SWG Promo in 2015. The name comes from the first names of its three owners -- Shakil Prasla, William McMurray, and George Kepnick, all of whom are heavily involved in every aspect of day to day operations. George acquired Spirit Pins in 2011, and was joined by partners Shakil and William in February 2015. By combining the experience of an established company with the fresh outlook of a startup the SWG team increased the company’s annual revenue from $610,000 to $1.23 million in 2015. SWG Promo LLC currently owns over 100 web domains offering a variety of products.
