While quite competent in accounting, finance and management, I am also skilled in strategic planning/budgeting, analysis, process improvement, and training. I also have a very strong IT side, which dove-tails well with my expertise in data-mining, reporting, implementation & development. Having worked in several industries (public accounting/tax, home building & real estate, telecommunications, manufacturing, hospitality and oil & gas), I gained experience that is broad and allows me to apply knowledge from one area to others. I have the unique combination of a finance and accounting background with an out-going personality. One of my strongest abilities is to communicate complex financial information in a language appropriate for the audience, from the board of directors to the IT department or the director’s assistant to the small business owner.Specialties: Financial consulting for small & start-up companies focusing on the business owner's financial literacy and how that improves growth.
