Bio

Started in corporate finance at Intel, left to start United Devices in 1999. We raised $28M over two rounds but ultimately UD did not make it. Luckily Sarbanes-Oxley came along at the right time so I did that for awhile and then returned to IT / Finance at AMD / GLOBALFOUNDRIES. I'm good with SAP and systems in general. I'm a "finance guy" but IT and engineering normally accept me as part of their tribe. About half my time at AMD / GLOBALFOUNDRIES was in IT.

I can articulate a business plan to help raise money as well as challenge business plan assumptions over time to determine if a "pivot" is necessary. I'm a realistic optimist.
