I started my career in the dot-com era with an engineering degree and working for different software startups. I got the entrepreneurial bug along the way and started a side business, Big Weekend Calendars. Eventually it grew into a full-time job as I sold into different retailers including HEB, Whole Foods, Costco and Walgreens. We have titles for different cities and over 200 retail locations. Paper wall calendars are really just a means of the mission. The mission is connecting each person to opportunities they will find rewarding and meaningful. Since 2012 I have been working on the "opportunity genome", a model which describes the vast majority of opportunities conceivable.
