Bio
Chris started his first business in 1999 after reading Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and listening to Power Talk by Anthony Robbins. He had built and lost his first company and ended up stranded in the DFW airport with $500,000 in debt in February 2002. He resiliently paid off that debt through multiple engagements and enterprises in a 24-month period after marrying his amazing partner and wife Brianne in 2005. He has spent over 14 years as an Author, Entrepreneur, and Venture Catalyst. He has built a global marketing and distribution business in the U.S. Canada, Japan, and Hong Kong, along with a Business Development Consulting firm, and has spent the last 5 years in the investment community and private equity incubating, investing, and mentoring early stage companies. Chris is currently acting as CCO (Chief Commercialization Officer) in a social-enterprise startup (For Profit-For Social Good) Unite For Literacy. Chris and Brianne are the creators of the Fort Collins Startup Week event and also owners of a BNB for Innovator’s called Launch Haus Manor in Fort Collins Colorado.
