There is nothing that energizes me more then solving problems. I am always looking at situations and seeing if it can done easier, cheaper, or quicker. This obsession started at the age of 9. I was given "the privilege" of having to mow our 2+ acres. The problem was it took all week as we had a small tractor. So after coming home on Monday I had to start mowing, and would be done on Saturday. This limited my playtime and this needed to be solved. So perhaps if I drove faster that would help - so I increased the performance of the mower's engine and changed the gearing on the riding mower to make it much faster. But I forgot to increase the speed of the mower's blade. All the increased speed did was push the grass over - so when it rained it all stood back up. So I increased the blade speed to match the speed of the tractor. That made my life so much easier so I kept looking for a better ways to do almost everything.
