After working 3 years as a Civil Engineer, the Smartphone app market looked intriguing and thus I founded Gx5 in 2005 as my creative outlet for small scale and sometimes ambitious startups and projects. We started out in the early days of Smartphone apps with best sellers TreoMemo and UltimatePhone for the Palm Platform. When the iPhone came out, we were fortunate to have iPhoneRingToneMaker ready for users within a month of the iPhone's release and then successfully transitioned it to Ringtone Expressions. It was the first commercially successful 3rd party product for the iPhone. During that period, iPhone jailbreaking became popular since there was no app store. Thus, I created Efiko Software to create apps for iOS. We shipped many jailbreak apps, highlighted by qTweeter and ToneFXs. In 2010, a Twitter app I was working on was acquired by UberMedia, leading to an exciting year of several projects, highlighted by 50 Cent's Uber50, which I was the creative lead. The 50 Cent experience opened up the opportunity to meet many urban celebs and athletes, many of whom I now work with on various projects providing technology advice, handling their digital presence and creating software solutions for them. Some notable clients include Kevin Hart, rapper Meek Mill, Mavin Records, NFL stars Antonio Brown, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and Terrell Owens. I have also consulted and done various projects for multiple startups. Some notable ones include Genius.com, Cinemagram and iROKOtv.
