Our Company is looking for a passionate, self-driven, and exceptionally talented hands-on UX / Visual Web designer who also understands how this would interact with mobile apps. Someone that will be responsible for designing and implementing the user interface for a next generation application built around Windows Azure Cloud computing.The UX and Visual Web Designer will work with our offshore development team to envision, create, craft and deliver next generation experiences with an emphasis on displaying rich content and visual information, based on a deep understanding of what makes our users move through an application and continue to engage on a website. With this development process, you will also craft a mobile interface as well.Overview / Primary Responsibilities:The UX and Visual Web Designer is expected to lead the design effort with other team members through a collaborative design process to deliver rapid prototypes, user stories, concept sketches, experience storyboards, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, motion design, design research and usability. Work closely with offshore product development team and negotiate and articulate the "why" of design decisions. You'll need to convince, to disagree confidently, take and give straightforward criticism.Help with functional testing of all areas of application to ensure the developed product/features meet the design goals.Provide interaction/visual specification with visual styling, wireframes, workflow diagrams, and interactive mockupsQualifications0. A well-rounded UX professional who connects the dots between business needs, innovation and good design. 1. Experienced at driving a user experience from start-to-finish that delivers results, connects emotionally, and makes customers smile again and again.2. Obsessed with good user-centered design practices and have an eye for detail (That font. That grid, That color, That gesture, That motion. etc.)3. 3-5 years of experience designing great consumer facing or enterprise products. 4. Have online PDF portfolio of products or major features of apps designed and launched from start to finish.5. Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and MS Office PowerPoint.6.
