Success is not a destination but a continuous journey. This is the basis for my work academically, professionally and socially. I try to consistently better myself to improve the life I live. I am currently a Senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Neuroscience with certifications in Business Foundations and Elements of Computing at the University of Texas at Austin. My previous Research and Development internship at Carlisle Construction has taught me the importance of consistent improvement and process research in making the best products. Working as a tutor I have used different methods to reach the same solution, these methods are tailored to each students learning style. Most importantly working as Intramural chair and leading tailgates for my fraternity (Lambda Chi Alpha) has taught me teamwork and the ability to work well with others. I trained others to be able to shop for food and utensils, set up the site and coordinate with the tailgate company. This allowed me to supervise and learn the importance of trust within teamwork. I am currently looking for an internship in consulting, management training and process management. I believe I have the necessary skills of patience, intuitiveness, experience, and trust in the process to succeed in the process engineering and consulting industry. I know what it takes to improve existing processes while coming up with new methods. Mainly I understand how to work with people. People are not objects and once treated like people they are effective members to work with. Finally I am open to different methods of problems solving, finding the best method for the applicable situation.
