Bio

I am a: Perpetual Tinkerer, not only with tools, but with ideas. I love to ask Why? How Does It Work? Can it be improved? One of my favorite childhood memories with my Dad was staying up late brainstorming new ideas. Ideas for new businesses. Ideas for a better processes. Ideas for new inventions. Add my grandfather’s penchant for fixing anything on the fly with duct tape, bailing wire, and spare parts, and you’ll realize that problem solving is not just my passion, it’s in my genes. So how does this translate to startups and early stage businesses? It’s simple, companies who stick with “we’ve always done it this way” are quickly vanishing! My passion is to build sales processes, lead new growth initiatives, and most importantly, work with my team to solve problems that were previously unsolvable. In my previous positions, I’ve: • Developed Strategic Partnerships with 50+ partners to join our ecosystem before our product was finished. They helped us refine our idea and became our initial beta users. • Worked with over 150 companies from Eastern Europe to Asia to South America, ranging in size from two guys who converted a VW van to a mobile office to tech companies with over 100 million users. • Saved over 1500 per month by leading our migration from Hubspot and SugarCRM to MailChimp and Insightly. I have a BBA in Finance from Stephen F. Austin and an MS of Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas. I like to describe the MSTC degree as an MBA for working with new and growing companies. A bit more about me, I enjoy learning about History, reading about startups and technology, staying fit, being outdoors, brainstorming new ideas, and am slowly but surely learning to code.
