Bio
Bill Noble has more than 26 years of strategic and corporate communications, public affairs, political campaign, and media relations experience. Bill joined SP Consulting as a Senior Partner in 2015 and was named a Managing Senior Partner in June 2016. In 2004, he founded Noble Strategic Partners and remains President and CEO working with Texas clients with public affairs needs. Bill previously served as Senior Advisor to Texas Governor Rick Perry. In his role, he provided daily counsel to the Governor and Senior Staff on media relations, communications and policy issues and led the external communications, community relations, and coalition efforts of the Governor’s office.Prior to joining Governor Perry, Bill was on the corporate communications team and led the Texas and 13-state public affairs efforts for then-SBC Communications (now AT&T) as a vice president with Fleishman-Hillard. Bill provided daily strategic counsel to SBC’s senior executive management on external communication issues and represented SBC with print and broadcast media.Bill previously worked as public and government relations group manager for AAA Texas – one of the state’s largest associations – where he headed all public relations, government affairs and community relations efforts and served as the company’s primary spokesman. He also worked in corporate communications, public affairs and media relations for USAA, a Fortune 150 diversified financial services firm.Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration/finance from San Diego State University and a master’s of business administration (MBA) from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is an Advisory Board Member of the Central Texas Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and serves on Government Affairs Committee for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Austin Area.Specialties: All Aspects of Public Affairs, Communications and Public Relations.
