Born and raised in Texas, I have over 30 years of business management experience and have worked with thousands of individuals in Central Texas to help them successfully start and grow their own small business venture. I am a fellow entrepreneur and small business coach with an excellent track record of successfully creating long-term collaboration and mentor programs, new businesses partnerships and ideal community networking opportunities. Now working with Global Chamber® Austin I'm helping companies and investors worldwide find more success across the border. As director of the award-winning Central Texas Business Resource Center, I worked with individuals to provide information and resources that would help them to start and grow their own small business venture successfully. I worked tirelessly to position the BRC as a leading source of small business development services in the Central Texas region, and expanded services on Fort Hood for military personnel and their families. I have great listening skills and understand how to respond strategically to information requests. I'm able to determine quickly any weaknesses and if a person is the right fit for a business they are launching, which can be most useful when recruiting a person for specific activities and responsibilities. I capitalize on opportunities to involve other communities and key organizations that have interest in economic development and excellent customer service. I have always worked to use available regional resources to their fullest potential. I enjoy working in a community service setting and giving back.
