Bio

Prior to becoming well-versed in the pains and rewards of the restaurant business, Rami Jahedi has a fascinating history that includes military experience. In 1993, his life changed with the decision to come to the U.S. He arrived with just $500, whatever he could carry in a gym bag and a commitment to learn English. His first job was distributing flyers for a restaurant; from there, he was promoted to delivery driver, cook and finally general manager before opening his own restaurant in 2001. Despite the recession at the time, with Mr. Jahedi’s award-winning leadership, Piccolo Italian Restaurant became a thriving upscale eatery in Austin, Texas. Five years later, he sold his restaurant to try working in the corporate environments of sales, service, IT, and management for Jack in the Box, Bennigan’s and Blockbuster Corporation. Mr. Jahedi returned to entrepreneurship in 2008 to fulfill his passion to more directly access and harness the potential within people and opportunities for new levels of success. A true entrepreneur, he has been a part of founding several technology companies to meet emerging needs. His diverse network of connections, and his influence, continues to expand with each project. Mr. Jahedi holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems (and knows how to kill bad code with his pinky finger).
