About the Role:

SUPER SUIT LLC is looking for an experienced electronics engineer, co-founder that has robotics industry relevant expertise, interest/desire in running their own start-up business, and is self-directed. This co-founder would preferably have deep belief in the current and future potential of robotics, our company's mission and objectives, deep experience in hardcore electronics engineering and end-to-end PCB design, a goal to own their own company, a strong entrepreneurial spirit, has strong interest in robotics, is self-directed, and is willing to take managed risks.

SUPER SUIT LLC designs, engineers, and markets a robotics, mechatronics based, body-assisted power armor hardsuit that augments and enhances human strength and endurance for logistics, supply chain, and material handling, to increase output productivity, save lives, and prevent workplace injuries.

OUR MISSION: TO ENHANCE HUMANITY

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• PCB requirements, architecture, design, simulations, prototype, bringup, validation, characterization, and release to production.
• Resolving PCB engineering and production issues with external vendors.
• Preparing and delivering design proposals
• Defect root cause analysis and resolution, including diligent bug database tracking.
• Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals, and contribute positively to the engineering community

REQUIREMENTS

• U.S. Citizen
• Skin-in-the-game
• Proven and demonstrated track record of success with PCB design: analog & digital circuit design, PCB layout, schematic capture
• Deep knowledge of PCB manufacturing and PCB rework
• Deep experience with MEMS components
• Previous start-up experience preferred
• Local to Austin, TX, or Dayton, OH
