About This Role:

MYSTIC AI is searching for a CTO, co-founder that has generalized full-stack software engineering experience, enterprise software industry relevant expertise, has interest/desire in being a part of their own start-up business, and is self-directed. This co-founder would preferably have deep belief in the current and future potential of Artificial Intelligence, our company's mission and objectives, deep experience in software engineering in an enterprise software environment, a goal to run their own company, a strong entrepreneurial spirit, has strong interest in conversational bots and narrow AI, is self-directed, and is willing to take managed risks.

About the Company:

Mystic is an angel stage AI company raising our angel funding round of $100K to build our prototype for a pre-sold customer for customer acceptance, and then raising our seed funding round of $500K on a phased basis to scale our business with marketing, sales, and engineering.

Mystic is a cloud-based conversational Artificial Narrow Intelligence Platform as a Service company.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment
• Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
• Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications
• Overseeing and guiding the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software
• Overseeing the automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process
• Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs
• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
• Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end
• Implementing open source software libraries
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues on a daily basis

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Previous start-up experience
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
• Experience with NLP, and machine learning preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
