OnPrem Solution Partners is a consulting and technology firm that is helping Hollywood come into the digital age by automating their content management and content delivery from photo shoots to movie theaters and consumer facing sites like iTunes, Hulu and Netflix.
Our consultants are On Premise in LA and NYC with our development team in Austin, TX. At the Innovation and Development Center (IDC) we build custom software applications that support our clients needs and business objectives. Our highly collaborative team works in an agile environment with with direct access to our clients and partners.
Job Summary
We’re expanding our QA team and seeking a detail oriented and curious Engineer to join us in Austin. You’d work directly with our cross functional teams to help assess project requirements, formulate a strategy, estimate QA work needed, and write both manual and automated test cases. You’d also be responsible for writing test plans for projects.
Join Us (Requirements)
- 5-7 years of QA experience within software development, including working with project teams
Experience with the following:
- Creating test documentation, test plans, test suites, and test cases
- Presenting to stakeholders
- Heavy experience with API testing using including a solid understanding of error codes
- Utilizing browser development tools, REST Console, Selenium
- Developing an Automation Framework
- Agile methodologies as well as implementing and leveraging Atlassian tool suite (or like tool suite) for defect management, issues management, code checking and deployment, and collaboration
- REST APIs, JSON, XML
- Querying databases like MS SQL / Oracle / MySQL
- Extensive experience with web technologies
- Writing scripts to automate simple tasks and processes
Bonus Round:
- Experience with AWS cloud testing or similar
- Java Development Experience
- 2-3 years of mobile testing applications (native or mobile browser)
