I am a robotics entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in robotics solutions creation and management. I live, breathe and sleep robotics, and I have the passion, and the ability to develop modular robots and artificial intelligence platforms for applications that benefit from automation, in a number of industries.This is my current passion at Advanced Intelligent Systems, the company I founded in 2013 with Robert Vahedi. Here I have developed new robotic solutions to improve efficiency and safety in industrial and agricultural applications, the first being BigTop, AIS’s flagship autonomous robot created for the horticultural industry to eliminate repetitive and strenuous tasks by automating movement and spacing of plant pots in greenhouses and nurseries.My next focus is to continue developing a proprietary library of hardware and software modules that can be used to create affordable, practical robots by significantly reducing development time and cost. I am excited to take AIS to the next level by while developing AI to improve all our processes.Prior to AIS, I was the Founder and CEO of industrial automation company specializing in designing and manufacturing robotic industrial automation solutions. During the course of my career, I have implemented more than 70 industrial robots to automate several manufacturing facilities with different applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting and painting. I believe the key to creating a better future for our workforce is robotics.
