I am a technologist, specialising in the development and management of ICT projects, products, and services based on innovative technologies, with expertise in Cultural Heritage, Tourism, Food/Beverages, and B2B Networking. Over the past 25 years, I have worked with an important portfolio of: - government agencies (at ministerial and local levels) and superintendencies, for example, developing and currently managing commercial videoguide services at the Colosseum and Roman Forum on behalf of the Italian government to over 4 million visitors annually in Rome, - projects at museums and art libraries, such as digital photoarchiving at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York); The Frick Art Reference LIbrary (New York); and the Courtauld Instititute (London) - 3D modelling of cultural monuments and historic cities with international universities, such as UCLA and the Polytechnic of Milan, for projects such as 3D Ancient Rome in partnership with Google Inc. in California (the first historic city to be viewable on Google Earth - visited by 72 million users worldwide in the first week of launching in 2008); with the Government of Qatar; and with the Superintendency of Pompeii. - I am currently working on a B2B Networking project for Fiera Milano and other trade fairs in the EU to improve networking between buyers/sellers through technology applications.
