Bio
My art background, my unique business experience, and my solid work ethic make me a perfect creative Talent Coordinator. Art: I have a BFA from the Art Institute in Illustration and Media Design. I have worked for three tee shirt companies and a fashion design company, CMRTYZ. I have done various freelance graphic design work and did product design at Sarah's Smart Foods. Recruiting: I first started recruiting at Cydcor, the biggest direct marketing company in America. I interviewed, trained and managed a small team. After only a few months I won 16th in the country for sales and became the "go-to" trainer. I have great people skills because I am authentically interested in people and I enjoy developing relationships. I also led training sessions for different offices when they joined our campaign. At CMRTYZ I built a small team of interns. I went to The Art Institute of Seattle to meet with the Intern Adviser in person to make sure she knew exactly what we were looking for. I built a cordial relationship with her and she would call me with recommendations. I ran the search, interviewing and then the training of the new recruits. Work Ethic: At Cydcor, I won the Leadership Award for work effort and ambition. This positive reinforcement motivated me. Performance-based companies are environments that I succeed in. For a year, I sustained working 60-hour weeks on 100% commission. "You can make excuses and you can make money, but you can't make both!” I am passionate about my career and look forward to further developing my skills in recruiting and coaching.
