I build innovative digital products with rich customer experiences within the full product lifecycle from vision to execution -- from my own past startup to next generation initiatives at large enterprises in both consumer facing and enterprise applications. Methodical yet flexible, I'm proven and results-oriented because I approach product management with a user-centered focus, lead via lean/scrum, and decisions backed by data through research/analytics. With both left-brained analytical/technical capabilities and right-brained creative product design backgrounds, I lead to successful milestones being attuned to the customer, business, and engineering needs. Key leadership roles include building the user experience of next generation flight planning SaaS (a la Google Maps for pilots), project management, heading product development for a 3D jewelry visualization SaaS using Unity3d, managing a multi-million dollar floral Ecommerce partnership, and launching a successful Ecommerce channel in the Canadian market. With my design roots, I have exceptional ability to listen to customer/market needs and within the team in order to build product strategy and roadmap. Whether tactical or strategic, I have the ability to wireframe and prototype as well as essential skills in building and running the product development team -- from backlog prioritization and sprints to visual design, front end development, cloud, API, and database. Additionally, I have a breadth of research and analytics techniques with my experience in business intelligence, predictive analytics, market research, user research, and web analytics. In my tenure as a market researcher, I was an internal consultant for senior executives in a global organization who supports Fortune 500 clients by conducting high visibility primary research and delivering insights. I'm passionate about tech, startups, agile/scrum/lean, and helping organizations "learn to fish" in terms of innovation.
