Mainly a musician for most of my life, I came to NY in 1998 and followed the Brooklyn music scene in Williamsburg, and DUMBO. I started working as a mover in the leading moving companies in NYC as a driver then manager. Later I opened a recording studio in DUMBO, but the scene began to change when musicians and artists were fighting with the landlords and developers, a lot of the pioneers of DUMBO left the neighborhood because they couldn't pay rent or kept switching buildings. I decided to keep the studio, and to open a moving company next door named Dumbo Moving and Storage Inc., as an answer to the big migration to Brooklyn. DUMBO stands as a beacon for the first landmark coming in to Brooklyn, and Dumbo Moving was an answer for many of the newcomers. As a professional mover, with a passion for fairness, I decided to give customers an affordable solution for all the over-priced moving quotes in New York City. We now are the biggest, and most affordable moving company in Brooklyn.
