Using EU Eco Label, Oeko Tex, and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified textiles to create modular eco-apparel, the raw material used to create JUJUBE Ecological Apparel Design's collections can be traced to their origins, which derive primarily from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified forests and other sustainably managed sources. JUJUBE's patent-pending G.R.O.W. modular design system allows for exponential garment styles to be created from mixing and matching pre-designed modular components using just a few pieces from JUJUBE's eco apparel collections. Even with as few as 2 pieces, one can create 4 styles, whereas with just 10 JUJUBE modular pieces hanging in the closet, 100 combinations can be created that can fulfill and sustain your stylistic needs for as long as 100 garments can---all with the use of raw material and energy consumption for just 10 pieces! As human population growth approaches the United Nation's estimate of 9.6 billion people with ~70 million added each year, the pace of our economic growth is already outstripping natural resource availability. Water, food, energy, and clean air are fast becoming scarce resources with increasing price points that exclude the poor from catching up with the pace of an ever-accelerating global economy. Sustainable design solutions and lifestyle adaptation are therefore critical to preventing further degradation to priceless natural assets that sustain human life. G.R.O.W. stands for "Green Reordering Of the Wardrobe."
