Mr. Roland Schneider currently leads engineering and development efforts for Paratus Diagnostics. Mr. Schneider has over 25 years of manufacturing experience, including 11 years as the Director of Advanced Manufacturing, Luminex Corporation where he was instrumental in leading the company from a startup to a successful publicly traded company. Under his leadership the manufacturing group transformed into a successful operation distributing products worldwide. He was a major contributor to all engineering efforts and developed equipment still being mass produced today. Under his supervision the plant expanded multiple times to accommodate new demands and growth. Previous to Luminex, he held a number of management and engineering positions in the energy sector, including a major role for an energy sciences company where he led the commercialization of processes and development facilities in several shale plays as well as the design, fabrication and operation of plants and equipment.
