Dr John Odhiambo Onyango is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at the School of Architecture, University of Miami, FL, USA and Director of Master of Science in Architecture. John teaches courses in Building Technology, Environmental Systems to both undergraduate and graduate students of architecture and architectural engineering degrees and supervises thesis students undertaking Master of Architectural Science degree and is a member of doctoral committees for students in Architectural and Civil Engineering. John is the USA regional director of Zero-Energy Mass Custom Homes (ZEMCH) Network. His professional career outside of academia includes working as a Vice-President of Nile Inc. Environmental and Construction; senior architect at Renfrewshire Council, UK; architect in others offices in Scotland, England, USA and Kenya. He has applied this combination of practical and academic experience to the various offices in various parts of the world.
