Bio
I was born in Claremont, California, a small sunny college town in the foothills northeast of Los Angeles. At age eight I vividly remember sitting in Mrs. Warren’s second grade class at Chaparral Elementary School creating sculptures from clay, writing poetry in a wide-ruled journal and illustrating comic books. Those early works were short on quality and long on copyright infringement, but in their creation I felt a real sense of accomplishment. That feeling drove me to hone my craft through years of experience as a freelance artist and in-house designer at Project Navigator, Ltd. and Concordia San Antonio. Today I experience that same feeling of accomplishment with every logo I design, every album I illustrate, and every website I launch.I believe that the core of every good design is effective communication. The best designs bring people and ideas together. I strive for beauty and quality in my work, not for their own ends, but because beauty draws people in and quality builds trust. My work has substance because my clients have substance. My job is to communicate that substance. To show, in an instant, exactly what it is that sets my client apart and makes them worthy of your attention. If you have something of value to offer, people should know about it. I would love to help you communicate it.
