Bio

Chelsea’s work bridges the interrelated areas of entrepreneurship, social good, technology and communications. She serves as Executive Director of Texans for Economic Progress, a statewide coalition that advocates greater access to tech education, entrepreneurship and infrastructure. She is also founder of Intercambio, a consulting company that connects companies to opportunity where has participated in the launch of several entrepreneurial companies including FrameBuzz, NewsTaco, FlashValet and Vidamerica. Chelsea was the founding Director for RISE – an annual conference series for entrepreneurs and served in the Governor’s Office, division of Economic Development. She is a Leadership Austin graduate and in 2013 received the BPE Ascendant Award and was a finalist for Profiles in Power and Austin Under 40. She is active in the community on several boards and committees focused on economic empowerment including the City of Austin Community Technology & Telecommunications Commission, Impact Texas, BiGAustin and the World Economic Forum Global Shapers. Chelsea has masters and bachelor degrees in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.
