The Houston Chapter, which is strategically positioned under the national chapter, was founded by Dr. Bridgette Jenkins. The Houston Chapter is a non-profit organization which will focus on serving Houston and surrounding communities through various initiatives. The Houston Chapter will also focus on scholarship, mentorship and preceptorship programs for nurses and nursing students.  In order to become a member and join the movement, please register with the national organization at www.blacknursesrock.com. National membership dues are currently $75 a year. After receiving your national membership confirmation, email [email protected] to join your local chapter which will be an additional $35 a year
