Czechitas is educational non-profit organization compounded by a team of girls and boys that combines the same goal - to strengthen IT diversity and fight for greater digital literacy among women and the next generation. Thousands of women and hundreds of children have discovered the world of information technology with this organization. Since 2014, Czechitas has implemented over 450 one-day workshops and long-term courses with more than 12,000 participants, regardless of age, prior education or work experience. Another 15 training events with more than 1,700 participants were organized in 2018 for children and youth. — We’ll have an interview with Czechitas Founder: Dita Přikrylová. She will be talking about the story of Czechitas, how she is running this organization, what are their current successes and failures, how did she build her organization culture, how to run a remote organization and more questions you’d like to make during the Q&A session.
