Please note: The date of the pinning ceremony has been moved from June 5 and is now taking place on June 4 due to scheduling conflicts. The pinning ceremony is a centuries-long tradition that welcomes new nurses to the profession. As you go through your career, your pin serves as a beacon of pride and helps you remember where you came from. We invite you to join us for the first pinning ceremony since Mount Royal was granted university status. Gather with the class of 2019 and fellow nursing alumni from years gone by to celebrate the special bond that nurses share. This year's pin will be a special edition gold pin, in recognition of the recent 50th anniversary of Mount Royal's nursing program. Light refreshments will be provided at the event. Register before Friday, February 22 to reserve your pin and your seat at the event. Details: Date: June 4, 2019 (Please note, this date has changed from the original date of June 5) Time: 10 a.m. Location: Mount Royal University campus (location TBD) Attire: Semi-formal (jeans are not permitted) Tickets: Alumni: $31 Graduates: $26 Guests of graduates*: $16 Faculty: $31 *Please note, graduates are permitted to bring a maximum of five guests to the ceremony, but this event is not intended to replace convocation in any way. Alumni and faculty are not permitted to bring guests to the event at this time.
