Polyglot: knowing or using several languages. This event is inspired from https://www.polyglotconf.com/ in Vancouver. We hope to gather 100 Calgary software developers who will leave language, platform and possibly even editor wars behind and come together for a spontaneously organized day of amazing talks, round-table discussions, panel sessions and coding. If you've never been to an un-conference (or open-space) event before your owe it to yourself to make it to Polyglot Calgary 2019. It's an experience like no other. The organisers have the right to decline on any topics that are not relevant or somehow potentially inappropriate. FINANCIAL SUPPORT AVAILABLE We hope this even it is accessible and inclusive as possible. The $20 registration fee helps cover some of our costs, however if you are unable to affoard the registration fee please reach out to the organizers and we can provide assistance to allow your attendance. SUPPORTING CANADA LEARNING CODE Polyglot YYC supports Canada Learning Code. Any proceeds from sponsorship & ticket sales after expenses will be donated to Canada Learning Code. Last year we donated $1000 to the Calgary Chapter of Canada Learning Code. CODE OF CONDUCT All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at Polyglot YYC are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event.
