You are invited to attend the 2019 Science & Technology Professional Development Day! Please join us for this year's S&T Professional Development Day at the Anvil Office Tower. We will be featuring a variety of speakers (see schedule below) throughout the day along with lunch. We look forward to seeing you on April 9th! IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Registration deadline is March 29, 2019. Registration opens college-wide after this date. Please register for lunch using the promotional code "ST_lunch": At the bottom of the registration list (Ticket Information) click “Enter promotional code” Enter the code “ST_lunch” and press Apply. A new ticket will become available at the top of the registration list Register for the ticket titled “S&T Lunch 12:10 – 1:00 pm” From 10:05 11:05 there are two workshops offered at the same time, please register for one. I will share my experience with meetings in the industry and as a BUSN department Chair at Douglas. Rethinking Time Management:- John Harrison Is there really such a thing as Time Management, or is Time just some uncontrollable beast that keeps on marching while we get left behind? These days it seems like everyone has to do more with less resources. We have great plans that we’d like to get started (and eventually complete), but the day-to-day demands seem to keep those valuable projects on the corner of our desk. So how do we move forward, get the job done, manage the details and still have a life? Join us for this fast-paced and interactive workshop that will: - help you understand the neuroscience behind the effects of stress and decision-making - provide valuable tools and tips that you can immediately use to tame your mounting workload - introduce the concept of proactive productivity and how to incorporate it into your daily routine FAQs Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
