You are invited to join us for our monthly meeting April 3,2019. We are excited to have Jennifer Kikkert as our guest speaker, who will be talking to us about our use of time. In this fast paced world time seems to be moving at an all time speed, it is time to look at what we are spending this valuable resource on and learn how to optimize our use of it. “Busy is the New Stupid – The Truth about Productivity & Optimizing Time” We mistake busy for productive all the time. It’s one of the primary ways we let people know how important we are. We have created a society that judges people based on how busy they are versus how productive they are, and this is driving the wrong behaviors in our work and personal lives. Jennifer Kikkert will present the truth about what productivity truly is and is not, how to find the minutes and even hours we are unconsciously losing every day and methods to eliminate the ‘busy’. Jen is passionate about helping organizations ‘see’ opportunities for improvement that often go unnoticed. Having spent 12 years working in the public sector, mainly healthcare, Jen has great experience in knowledge industries where the actual processes are hard to see. In 2014 Jen started working in the private sector, training change leaders, coaching senior management and key leaders, and motivating cross-disciplinary teams to improve their productivity. Jen holds a Process Mastery Certification from the Hammer & Co program in Boston, and is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
