The Western States Hostage Negotiators' Association (WSHNA) is excited to be traveling to Spokane, Washington for our 33rd Annual Training Seminar. Our 2019 Training Seminar will also feature a full day Negotiation Team Competition on Sunday, April 7th, 2019. Please download an entry form from www.wshna.com. Our Competition Event continues to be a big success and a quality training experience. Space is limited, so gather your team and enter now. Note: You must be a registered seminar attendee to participate in the competition. Our Training Seminar will be at the Historic Davenport Hotel on April 8th, 9th, & 10th. Registration & Networking on the evening of April 7th, 2019. Networking events will to be announced for the evenings of April 8th & April 9th which will include a 'team-building' exercise. The host committee from Spokane Police Department is hoping you will come early and/or stay late and enjoy all that the Spokane area has to offer. Of course, keeping with WSHNA standards, the Seminar will provide first-rate presenters to increase your crisis negotiation skills. Can't wait to see you in Spokane. Please Note: Given the accessible location of Spokane we anticipate our allocation of rooms at the Historic Davenport Hotel and the Davenport Tower (across the street) will fill very quickly. Is the last day, April 10th, 2019, a full day of class? No. The morning will be a presentation and final WSHNA business until approximately 1:00 PM. Space will be available in the afternoon for networking with all your new negotiator friends. Are registrations transferrable? Yes. We understand that our profession/s has some scheduling challenges (court, special assignments, unplanned events, unusual occurrences, etc...). Thus, registrations are transferrable provided you notify WSHNA via Bruce Wind at [email protected]. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No. What is the refund policy? Registration cancellations less than 30-days prior to the beginning of the Seminar will not be refunded. Rather, a voucher for the following year's Seminar may be issued at the discretion of the Executive Board.
