It's time to practice your 30 second pitch! Join Carey Collaboration for a career and internship fair this spring! Learn about companies that frequently recruit at W. P. Carey and practice your career fair skills with mock recruiters. Prior to attending the fair, you must sign up for a company and a time slot on Eventbrite. This will ensure capacity restrictions are met. There is only room for 20 students per table, per time slot, so sign up in advance. You will need to do some research on the company that you sign up for to the extent that you feel comfortable talking with mock recruiters. When you arrive at the Career Fair, you will be required to check in at the front table with your ASU ID and then go to the booth for the company that you signed up for. During the fair, you will be asked the following two questions: Tell me about yourself (your 30 second pitch) Why do you want to work here? You will be scored in real time, according to the grading rubric, and feedback will be given to you immediately following your conversation. This is a completion grade so you will be given full credit for attending and having the conversation with the mock recruiter. The recruiter will record your attendance.
