Irish American Heritage Month and St. Patrick's Day Season 1st March First Friday Networking Breakfast As we head into Irish American Heritage month and the St. Patrick’s Day Season, please join us on Friday, 1st March for our monthly First Friday Networking Breakfast. We are delighted to announce our special guest, Mark Pollock, athlete, innovator and campaigner. Unbroken by blindness in 1998, Mark went on to compete in ultra endurance races including being the first blind person to race to the South Pole. In 2010 Mark was left paralysed after falling from a second story window. He is now exploring the intersection where humans and technology collide. Through the Mark Pollock Trust he is fundraising to cure paralysis in our lifetime and he is also co-Founder of the global running series Run in the Dark. As you know, First Friday is a great opportunity to connect with the Irish & Irish-American community in the greater New York region. Come along to promote an event that will be of interest to the Irish diaspora in New York or simply hear the latest community, cultural and business news. The networking breakfast is also a great place to connect for those visiting from Ireland. Spread the word and bring your friends.
