As guests of our UN NGO New Future Foundation Inc, GODSU will be visiting the United Nations on April 22nd and 23rd, 2019 for 2 International Days in the UN World Center in Manhattan, New York. The General Assembly declared 22 April as International Mother Earth Day to recognize the responsibility we have to promote harmony with nature and the Earth to achieve a balance between economic, social and environmental needs of present and futureRecognizing Mother Earth reflects the interdependence that exists among human beings, other living species and the planet we all inhabit, generations. 2. United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) created the World Book and Copyright Day to be held on April 23, a symbolic date for world literature since that day conincide with the birth or death of prominent authors. In order to yield a universal tribute to books and authors on this date, encouraging everyone, and in particular young people, to discover the pleasure of reading and the irreplaceable contributions of those who have furthered the social and cultural progress of humanity, writers.
