Moody Gardens' Mardi Gras Ball for Special People is an event for individuals with special needs of all ages and a maximum of 4 of their guests to come and enjoy the spirit of Mardi Gras in a fun and safe environment! If you are an organization supporting special needs wanting to attend with a group, please send an email to [email protected] in order to register your group to be in attendance. Come and enjoy a dance floor, DJ, costume characters, food, craft stations, costume and dance contests, face painting and much more. This year, the theme for this event is Jungle Jam, so keep that in mind when choosing your costume or outfit! Registration for this event is required and you must check in at the doors upon your arrival.
