Since 2018 Austin has created more than 30,000 jobs, becoming one of the fastest growing cities in america. This economic growth has been spurred by a 70% increase in venture capitalism and the birth of a technology hub. However, these opportunities are not always accessible to Austin’s black and brown communities. In an effort to raise awareness about these opportunities, the Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTM) and Harlem Labs have partnered with local entities to host ReThink Austin 2019. This all day event will include meaningful conversations about the future of Austin’s workforce, the power of information sharing, and networking with industry professionals.
