As business leaders, you are always thinking of where the next talent for your organization will come from. On March 8th, the Leon Works Expo will connect you with hundreds of high school students preparing for the workforce and job seekers interested in finding new opportunities in skilled careers. All attendees at the Expo will receive more information regarding certifications, apprenticeships, and educational opportunities. By 2025, over 68,000 new jobs will be available in the Leon County area that require more than a high school diploma, but less than a four-year college degree. To address the need, Leon County Government and the Tallahassee-Leon County Office of Economic Vitality is hosting the Leon Works Expo to bring together the community, employers, academic institutions, and students.
