Now in our 27th year, the Austin Powwow and American Indian Heritage Festival is truly a unique Austin event. See hundreds of Native American dancers and singers from across the country and experience a fascinating look into this rich culture. Visit our Heritage Stage, shop at our large Native Market, and enjoy traditional foods at our Native Food Court.Open to the public and everyone is welcome. This is a family friendly event and absolutely no drugs or alcohol are permitted. Traditional Powwow - Hundreds of dancers from across the country. Dance competitions. Heritage Stage - See hoop dancers, Comanche hymns, native flute, ledger art demo. Native Market - Shop our large covered market. Native American arts and crafts. Food Court - Relax and enjoy traditional Native American foods. Texas Parks and Wildlife Interactive Program - Fun for the whole family.
