Yes, there will be many volunteer opportunities at the Maker Faire, the day before and the day of event. Please check our website for more information on how to volunteer.http://shastacounty.makerfaire.com/participate/volunteer/ What if it rains? The show will go on! Bring rain gear to keep you dry when walking outdoors. Fortunately, most of our exhibits are indoor exhibits to keep the family dry. What can I expect? To have a fantastic time! You'll be surprised and intrigued with every corner that you turn. Rain or Shine. No Refunds/Exchanges. Tickets cannot be replaced.  Ticket Use Release of Liability  This contract limits the liability of Maker Media, Inc. ("MM") and its affiliates, as well as Shasta County Mini Maker Faire, its sponsors and volunteers. You acknowledge that Maker Faire exhibits and activities are inherently hazardous, and that risks to you as a Maker Faire attendee include physical injury and property damage. You are solely responsible for supervising/controlling the behavior of the children in your party for your/their safety. By using this ticket and/or participating in Shasta County Mini Maker Faire exhibits and/or activities, you assume all risks to you and/or your children of such, including damage, loss, harm, and injury to your person(s) and all risks resulting from negligent or incorrect instruction or supervision and you release MM and its affiliates, as well as Shasta County Mini Maker Faire, its sponsors and volunteers, or anyone providing a booth or activity, from all corresponding liability to you and your successors.  In addition, some Maker Faire exhibits will require an additional liability waiver that each attendee will be required to sign at the entrance gate the day of the event if they wish to participate.  For all children under 18, a legal guardian must be available to sign the liability waiver the day of the event.
