Galvanize Data Science Capstone Showcase – Thursday, September 6th Meet Galvanize Denver's 2018 Data Science Graduates! Our data science students are selected for their quantitative ability, programming experience, communication skills, and data science potential. They are expanding on their impressive backgrounds with 12 weeks of hands-on, project-based, data science training in our program. Each student spends the last two weeks of the program on a self-directed data science project and the Capstone Showcase provides a chance for our graduates to demonstrate their creativity and technical expertise. Join us for this engaging evening! Our candidates are ready to join the industry as full-time data scientists. Galvanize Capstone Showcase Schedule (September 6th): 6:00 PM – Networking Happy Hour & Poster PresentationsConnect with the graduates in a less formal setting and learn more about their projects and backgrounds. 6:55 PM - Welcome 7:00 PM – Capstone Project PresentationsListen to our graduates present an overview of their personal projects. They’ll explain what they’ve built, show off the technical details, and answer brief questions from audience members. FAQ: There is paid parking in the garage just to the south of the Galvanize building, and also at REI on Platte south of 15th Street. Please do not park in the lot next to Denver Beer Company. When you arrive, please enter through the main doors on Platte Street and use the elevators to proceed to the Lower Level.
