Join us at Galvanize Austin for data science demos from Galvanize Data Science students and partner companies! Join Galvanize members, alumni, students, staff, and community members for self-guided tours of the latest trends in data science, presented by partner companies. No speeches or presentations. Just conversations with data scientists about their work. Enjoy food and drinks as you discover how our students and community members are using data science to solve some of technology's most compelling issues. You don't want to miss it! Data Science Immersive Graduates: Over our three-month immersion course, the Galvanize Data Science curriculum challenges students to solve real business problems, using real-world data sets, that culminate in a final capstone project. Delve into these projects and see how Galvanize students use the full data science stack - data munging, exploration, modeling, validation, visualization, and communication - to solve real business problems. Our students have backgrounds ranging from industrial engineering to physics, mathematics to marketing, and they all came to Galvanize to level up their skills to become data scientists. This showcase will be driven by the diversity, quality, and ingenuity of our student projects, and whether this is the first or the next time you are joining us, you will leave impressed and inspired. Company Demos: We are excited to have the following companies showcase their work in the data science field: * Auto Auto will be demo-ing their interactive learning platform to get kids exciting about coding in python! * If you are interested in participating, please contact [email protected] Hiring Partners: Our focus at Galvanize is on serving our students, so we don't charge recruiting fees. There is no fee to attend this event, nor does Galvanize charge a placement fee. We'd love to have you give back and help us build the community through guest lectures, hosting a project, or contributing to our diversity scholarship fund. Not hiring currently? No worries.
