This annual block party in the historic Houston community of Magnolia Park honors the neighborhood’s cultural heritage by hosting a family-friendly celebration all can enjoy for FREE, highlighting the holiday of Dia De Los Muertos and its traditions. In it's fifth year, the party is going to be bigger and better than ever--you don't want to miss this exciting event! Enjoy these activities at the block party, and more! LISTEN to live music from local artists LEARN about the rich history of the Magnolia Park neighborhood PARTICIPATE in traditional Dia de los Muertos altar-building SHOP gifts, clothes, and more, from local vendors EAT amazing food from local restaurants CREATE collaborative art celebrating the people of Magnolia Park TAKE PHOTOS with your friends in our photobooth to remember the day Drinks available for sale by cash or card. The block party area is accessible to people with limited mobility. Services for concessions offered in English and Spanish.
