**Please note, this is NOT a transfer fair for current Dallas ISD staff.** Dallas students have big dreams for the future, but they also face big challenges. They deserve great teachers who can help them break through barriers and build the life they dream of. Dallas ISD gives talented educators a chance to become one of those teachers and make a difference for kids in the Dallas community. Come join us and teach where you are needed the most, in Dallas. FAQs Do I have to register to attend? Yes, you must register to receive a ticket to the job fair. Event tickets will be required for entry. Do not forget to bring your teaching certificate or proof of teaching eligibility. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? You can print your ticket or pull it up on your smartphone. We will need to scan the QR code in order to enter. When and where do I check in? Check-in will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. in the school's cafeteria. The entrance is located at the back of the building. Do I have to bring my Certification or Statement of Eligibility? Yes. You must bring a copy of your Texas Certification, valid out-of-state teaching certificate, or Statement of Eligibility if you are in an alternative certification program. If you will be graduating in the coming months and do not yet hold your official certificate, please bring a copy of your unofficial transcripts as proof of eligibility. Can I bring a companion to the job fair? Due to limited space, only registered candidates will be allowed entry. We regret that childcare will not be available onsite. Where can I park? You may park your vehicle in the lots behind the school. You can find additional parking at: Fair Oaks Park 7502 Fair Oaks Ave Dallas TX - Between Abrams Rd & Walnut Hill LnFair Oaks Park is a large softball complex located next to Emmett J Conrad High School Jack Lowe Sr. Elementary School Located at 7000 Holly Hill Drive. There will be a shuttle running every few minutes throughout the event to take you to the check-in area. The shuttle service will begin at 4:30 p.m. and run through 8:30 p.m. to help you return to the parking lot. Sam Tasby Middle School Located at 7001 Fair Oaks Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
