*This event is only open to first-year Kellogg students starting their degree program in the summer/fall of 2018.* Social Impact Days at Kellogg is an annual event for impact-interested incoming students before the activities of KWEST trips, pre-term, and CIM Week even begin. 100 incoming students gather over the span of one and a half days to engage with classmates, faculty and staff, form teams and dive right into the excitement and potential of impact and human-centered design innovation with their new classmates. During Social Impact Days, students who are interested in forging impact over the course of their careers come together, form teams, and design innovative approaches to real social and environmental challenges. In addition, students will hear from incredible speakers and faculty, and learn about social impact across Kellogg including courses, experiences and career. Social Impact Days culminates in a student pitch competition, recognitions and prizes. In 2018, Social Impact Days will begin the morning of Wednesday, August 22nd and conclude at lunchtime on Thursday, August 23rd. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Wednesday, August 22 8:00 am - 9:00 pm Thursday, August 23 8:00 am - 2:00 pm -- Student team pitches, voting, awards, introduction to Social Impact across the Kellogg experience (lunch provided)
